Key Account Manager – B2B

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (preference for Sales, Marketing, or Business-related courses)
- 1 to 2 years of experience in B2B Sales, Route-to-Market strategies, or the petroleum industry
- Highly independent, with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong ability to adapt and prioritize tasks, even in unexpected situations
- Problem-solving skills to handle simple to complex issues collaboratively
- Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities
- Sound decision-making skills, based on facts and logical analysis
- Proficient in using Customer Marketing Databases and related tools
- Knowledgeable in logistics and supply chain management processes, particularly Order-to-Cash
- Assertive, personable, and skilled in building relationships
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of Key Accounts customers to achieve approved sales volume targets
- Develop SPANCOP strategies (Suspect, Prospect, Approach, Negotiate, Close, Order, Pay) to align with sales growth objectives
- Ensure volume, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and margin targets are consistently met
- Address the administrative and operational needs of key accounts
- Identify and develop key channels and non-traditional customers to increase business opportunities
- Track competitor activities through market intelligence and pursue new opportunities to enhance the company’s market share
- Monitor market price movements and manage pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness
- Regularly review Trade Account Receivable (TAR) performance and ensure timely collection of due accounts
- Cultivate strong professional relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business
- Oversee Order-to-Cash (OtC) processes for distributors, accounts, and retailers
