Plant Maintenance Engineer

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Professional license (PRC) required
- 6–10 years of experience in LPG, gas, oil & energy, or industrial manufacturing, with at least 4 years in a maintenance management role
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, reliability engineering, and regulatory compliance
- Certified HSE auditor with experience in maintenance program implementation
- Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies that support continuous plant operations with a focus on safety and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee the delivery of maintenance support and services in full compliance with HSSE, DENR, and DOLE regulations.
- Supervise maintenance operations across all plants, ensuring adherence to best practices in LPG plant maintenance.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations to prevent recurrence of equipment issues and operational disruptions.
- Ensure regulatory compliance through timely reporting, inspections, audits, and submission of maintenance documentation.
- Oversee timely execution of maintenance activities while maintaining a zero-accident safety record.
- Develop and manage an asset management system for equipment lifecycle monitoring, replacement planning, and capability enhancement.
- Maintain an updated asset register and ensure complete documentation of all maintenance activities.
- Track and report maintenance performance metrics (equipment availability, downtime, cost performance) per plant.
- Plan and implement energy consumption reduction programs to optimize operating costs.
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to align maintenance schedules with production requirements.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including cost control measures, spare parts procurement, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Build and develop the maintenance team’s technical capabilities through training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Lead maintenance planning and execution for plant turnarounds, major overhauls, and tank prequalification.
- Ensure availability and calibration of critical tools and instruments for maintenance and compliance.
- Evaluate and accredit external repair facilities, and manage contractor safety, performance, and compliance during outsourced maintenance.
- Implement digital tools and systems for maintenance scheduling, reporting, and KPI tracking.
- Serve as technical advisor and lead emergency response actions, both on-site and off-site (including road transport emergencies), in line with ERP protocols and safety regulations.
