Phoenix Petroleum, LGU invite barangays to join Davao City Torotot Fest

Get ready, Davaoenos, for a pulse-racing New Year as Phoenix Petroleum doubles the fun as it joins the city’s Torotot Fest this year.
The fastest-growing oil company invites everyone to chime in on the festivities happening at the Rizal Park on December 31, 2018 and welcome 2019 in style. All barangays are invited to add glimmer to the year-end celebration by participating at the various competitions.
Open to all residents, dance groups, and barangays in Davao City, the competitions are the Torotot-Inspired Costume Competition, Torotot Dance Competition, and the Giant Torotot Competition (see competition guidelines here).
Interested participants can get entry forms at the City Tourism Operations Office located at the 2nd floor of Pasalubong Center, Palma Gil St., Davao City (near People’s Park), and the following Phoenix stations: Phoenix Gmall Toril, Phoenix Ponciano, and Phoenix Lanang. A cash prize of Php 50,000 will be given away for each 1st placer of the competition, Php 20,000 for second placers, Php 10,000 for third placers, and Php 5,000 as consolation prize.
The Davao City Torotot Fest is a festival celebrated in Davao City every New Year’s Eve, created in support of the city’s advocacy of celebrating the new year in a safe, cost-efficient, and enjoyable manner.
