Inventory Assistant Manager

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance
- Background in SAP is an advantage
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory and cost accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Flexible and a strong team player
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented and accurate
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Can perform well under pressure
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the daily activities of the accounting inventory group
- Improving internal controls on systems and procedures; initiating corrective actions when necessary, and providing recommendations
- Establishing and maintaining records and files to document transactions in compliance with audit requirements
- Providing timely and accurate reports and data to support management decision-making
- Developing inventory analysis reports
- Verifying and monitoring inventory movements to support variance analysis
- Reconciling and validating actual entries versus the accounting system
- Assisting in the enhancement of internal control measures
- Addressing internal customer concerns and providing practical, win-win solutions
- Preparing monthly reports and supporting schedules
- Handling special projects as assigned
- Leading and witnessing physical inventory counts at terminals, depots, warehouses, and company-owned stores
