Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Background in SAP is an advantage
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory and cost accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Flexible and a strong team player
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Can perform well under pressure
  • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and overseeing the daily activities of the accounting inventory group
  • Improving internal controls on systems and procedures; initiating corrective actions when necessary, and providing recommendations
  • Establishing and maintaining records and files to document transactions in compliance with audit requirements
  • Providing timely and accurate reports and data to support management decision-making
  • Developing inventory analysis reports
  • Verifying and monitoring inventory movements to support variance analysis
  • Reconciling and validating actual entries versus the accounting system
  • Assisting in the enhancement of internal control measures
  • Addressing internal customer concerns and providing practical, win-win solutions
  • Preparing monthly reports and supporting schedules
  • Handling special projects as assigned
  • Leading and witnessing physical inventory counts at terminals, depots, warehouses, and company-owned stores
