Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply & Operations in the oil industry
  • Preferably trained in Supply Chain & Trading
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP systems, and business presentations
  • Basic knowledge of existing LPG regulations (e.g., BPTC 2015)

Responsibilities:

Supply & Inventory Management:

  • Consolidate sales demand targets, monitor daily throughput, and ensure timely vessel importation with minimal demurrage exposure.
  • Coordinate closely with the Trading team for inventory replenishment and provide prompt updates on sales volume estimates and daily offtake.
  • Monitor vessel status, loading, and discharging, and report critical events (e.g., vessel delays, force majeure) that may impact supply.
  • Work with stakeholders to anticipate potential supply shortages and implement contingency plans to maintain uninterrupted LPG supply.
  • Handle claims evaluation (e.g., oil loss, demurrage) and coordinate resolutions with involved parties.
  • Provide regular inventory reports for strategic decision-making, including hedging strategies to minimize cost risks.

Synergy & Strategic Partnerships:

  • Establish and maintain synergy arrangements with other oil companies to optimize supply distribution.
  • Negotiate strategic supply alliances, including locational swaps and throughput arrangements, to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless execution of synergy agreements.
  • Develop and sustain strong industry relationships to stay updated on market trends and potential business opportunities.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:

  • Ensure timely processing of billing documents and payments for supply-related transactions.
  • Manage prompt collection of receivables to prevent overdue accounts.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation with oil companies to maintain accurate records, especially for locational product exchanges.

Regulatory & Compliance:

  • Secure discharging permits to facilitate cargo unloading without delays, coordinating with customs brokers, PPA, shipping agents, and customs personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with DOE, BIR, and BOC import/export regulations and oversee permit renewals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for LPG local purchases and supply sales within the SAP system.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and ensure efficient use of operating budgets.
  • Monitor industry best practices, innovations, and competitor strategies to enhance operational performance.
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and ensure compliance with company standards.
