Phoenix brings smiles to over 4,000 kids with Christmas gift-giving tradition

Employees lead Phoenix Petroleum’s annual Christmas gift-giving activity for children held at 18 schools nationwide.

More than 4,000 children received an early Christmas present from Phoenix Petroleum as the country’s fastest-growing oil company continues its annual Christmas gift-giving activity this year.

In a span of one month, Phoenix Philippines Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Phoenix Petroleum, visited 18 schools all over the country and gave away toys, slippers, and school supplies to 4,063 kindergarten and Grade 1 students—including the 70 children of the Native B’laan Tribe of Polomolok, South Cotabato.

“Phoenix Petroleum aims to spread the joy of the holiday season to more kids each year, and we hope we’re able to do just that through our CSR projects such as the annual Christmas gift-giving activity.” Phoenix Petroleum Chief Operating Officer Henry Albert Fadullon said. “We hope that through the simple gifts and treats we shared, we’re able to give back and show our appreciation for our partner communities.”

The children were also treated to food and entertainment featuring Phoenix Petroleum employees who participated and joined in the activities.

For the past 11 years, Phoenix Petroleum has been consistently organizing a Christmas gift-giving activity as part of its CSR campaign. This year, the activity kicked-off on November 7 at the Lapu-Lapu Elementary School in Davao City and ended at Dalipuga Elementary School and at Kalubihon Elementary School in Iligan City on December 12.

Aside from its various outreach programs, Phoenix Philippines Foundation also facilitates numerous corporate social responsibility projects under its education, health, safety, and environmental campaigns.
