Phoenix Petroleum opens country’s first ever LPG hub in a gas station
Aside from fuels and lubricants, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) can now also be availed at a Phoenix fuel station.
Providing clients with an enhanced retail experience, Phoenix Petroleum—the country’s leading independent and fastest-growing oil company—has opened a Phoenix SUPER hub at its fuel station in Olongapo City, Zambales, on November 21, 2018. It is the first LPG showroom ever built inside a fuel station in the Philippines.
Aside from Phoenix SUPER LPG cylinders that are available for pickup and delivery, the hub also offers free product installation and handling assistance to clients—an upgrade to the usual LPG shopping experience.
“The opening of a Phoenix SUPER LPG hub in our station is only the first step in our plans of inter-business synergy,” Phoenix Petroleum Chief Operating Officer Henry Albert Fadullon said. “Our vision for our fuel stations is to be a place of convenience for our customers, where they can get not only fuels, but essential products and services as well that can help enhance their daily grind.”
The Phoenix SUPER Hub in the Phoenix Olongapo station brings the total number of Phoenix SUPER LPG outlets to 48 in Luzon, 17 of which are operated by Phoenix station dealers.
Over the past two years, Phoenix Petroleum has been aggressively expanding its foothold nationwide—strengthening its retail network and adding complementary businesses to its portfolio. Aside from LPG, it has acquired the Japanese convenience store chain FamilyMart, ventured into the asphalt business with PhilAsphalt Development Corporation and Thailand’s Tipco Asphalt, and is in the process of developing a liquefied natural gas (LNG) business in the country with CNOOC Gas and Power Group Co. Ltd.
