Phoenix pandemic donations help over 16,000 households with free SUPER LPG
Supporting home cooking as the preferred meal preparation option during the COVID-19 pandemic, Phoenix SUPER LPG has been partnering with its dealers and franchisees nationwide to help as many people as it can by providing free LPG. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the brand has, so far, donated Phoenix SUPER LPG to more than 16,000 households through local government units, foundations, and non-government organizations, benefitting different communities nationwide, especially frontliners.
“Most of our kababayans use dilapidated cylinders and are not sure if they are using safe tanks. Given that we have many concerns these days, we want to ensure that we are able to lessen their worries by giving them safe LPG that they can use to cook for their families, and lessen the need to go out,” said Phoenix SUPER LPG VisMin General Manager, Eve Gerodias.
LPG dealers have largely become part of the campaign as they give out free LPG content within the vicinity of their newly opened LPG SUPER Hubs, providing an essential product to those who are in need of cooking fuel at home. During the period of the lockdown, over 70 LPG SUPER Hubs were opened across the country. The aggressive network expansion allowed the brand to capture 6.57% of the total LPG market share in the first six months of 2020, up from 5.61% for the whole year 2019. Now, Phoenix has 1,231 LPG SUPER Hubs and exclusive channel partners nationwide.
“The free LPG content offer touches on both social responsibility and love of family. The lockdown has made households rediscover the joys of cooking with their families. At least in our own simple way, we were able to help our kababayans during this difficult time of the crisis,” expressed Phoenix SUPER LPG Luzon General Manager, Ton Villanueva.
Empowering entrepreneurs who are looking for a sustainable source of income in this trying time, Phoenix SUPER LPG is also offering a 3-in-1 Bangon Negosyo start-up business package.
With a discounted price of Php 350,000, entrepreneurs can get an initial Phoenix SUPER LPG inventory of 11kg tanks with content and German-made SRG regulator, a branded home delivery motorcycle, a Posible bills payment business with Php 5,000 free load, and a Phoenix Lubricants products package for selling.
Since the onset of the pandemic, Phoenix SUPER LPG has launched business innovations, including an online ordering and delivery site, and the acceptance of card payments to limit human contact and help stop the spread of COVID-19.
