Phoenix Petroleum hosts Jr.NBA/Jr.WNBA Regional Selection Camp in Bacolod

Leading independent oil company Phoenix Petroleum will host the Regional Selection Camp of the Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA 2015 presented by Alaska on March 21 and 22, 2015 at St. John’s Institute in Bacolod.

Participants of the Regional Selection Camp will undergo vital tests, basketball drills, skills tests, and receive world-class basketball instruction and learn about the Jr. NBA S.T.A.R. values of Sportsmanship, Teamwork, positive Attitude, and Respect.

A maximum of 10 boys and four girls will be selected on Day 2 of the Regional Selection Camp to represent the region in the 2015 Jr.NBA/Jr.WNBA National Training Camp that will be held in Manila on April 24-26.

The Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Bacolod Regional Selection Camp will culminate with a donation of books and other school materials on March 23, 2015 at Jose Rizal Elementary School, Bacolod City, initiated by NBA Cares and the Phoenix Philippines Foundation.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines is the official partner of the Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA in Bacolod, and will be hosting all its program events in the city. This is the third time Phoenix Petroleum hosted the Jr. NBA clinics, with the first in Davao in 2013, and the second in Cebu last year, both breaking attendance records.

Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA Philippines 2015 is presented by Alaska Milk, with official partners Phoenix Petroleum, Gatorade, and Globe Telecommunication, and is also supported by KFC and Spalding. Official NBA broadcasters are Basketball TV, NBA Premium TV and ABS-CBN Sports.

Phoenix Petroleum is the official fuel partner of the NBA in the Philippines.
