Phoenix Petroleum joins Brigada Eskwela 2015
Phoenix Petroleum employees in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao joined the nationwide annual Brigada Eskwela program of the Department of Education. They helped their adopted schools get ready for the school year. This year’s Brigada Eskwela theme was “Tayo para sa Kalinisan at Kahandaan ng ating mga Paaralan”.
Luzon
Phoenix Petroleum donated P30,000 worth of paints and paint brushes to adopted schools Salong Elementary School and Lumbang Calzada Elementary School in Batangas, and South Cembo Elementary School and Rafael Palma Elementary School in Manila.
Visayas
Phoenix Petroleum employees in Visayas helped paint the walls and windows of the classrooms of adopted school Maguikay Elementary School on May 27, 2015. They also donated boxes of paint and paint brushes to the school.
Mindanao
Phoenix Petroleum employees in Davao painted walls and windows of the classrooms and faculty room of adopted school F. Bangoy Central Elementary School on May 16, 2015. They also donated welding machines for the school’s Alternative learning System (ALS) students. Boxes of paint, paint brushes, and tables and chairs for pre-school students were also donated for adopted schools Lapu-Lapu Elementary School, Doña Asuncion Elementary School, Vicente Hizon Elementary School, San Roque Central Elementary School, and Davao City Special School.
