Phoenix Petroleum to hold sports events for Araw ng Dabaw

Leading independent oil company Phoenix Petroleum Philippines joins the 79th Araw ng Dabaw celebration with three major sports events: the 8th Phoenix Open golf tournament, the Cyclomax Motocross, and the Phoenix Fuel Masters Meet and Greet activity.

The 8th Phoenix Open will be held on March 19, 2016 at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club. The tournament is open for male and female amateur golfers, 21 years old and above. Registration will start on February 15.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Phoenix Philippines Foundation, Inc. to support their programs on education, environment, health and safety, outreach, and future initiatives.

Phoenix Petroleum will also present the 79th Araw ng Dabaw Cyclomax Motocross on March 13 at Kauswagan, Brgy. Langub, Davao City in partnership with Moto-X Davao.

Phoenix Fuel Masters, the newest team to join the PBA, will visit Davao City for a Meet and Greet activity with fans in March. The team includes JC Intal, Willy Wilson, Mick Pennisi, Josh Urbiztondo, RR Garcia, and Nigerian import Andrew Kehinde “Kenny” Adeleke.

The team will play their first home game on March 19 in Panabo City, Davao del Norte against Ginebra San Miguel.
